That being said, congressmen & president are somewhat democratically elected - and voting is thrice as influential if you’re in a low population state!.

You can thank the Biden camp for that. If they had proposed using the nonpartisan debate committee then by the rules and projected polling, they’d also have to put RFK Jr. on the stage. Frankly that is the last thing the Biden campaign wanted.

RFK jr is a joke, but after the last three elections, D and R aren’t going to magically start running competent candidates next year. And giving the parties more power is the exact opposite of what we ne d to be doing
