Headline slightly sensationalised compared to article content. But he did say he’d go to Venezuela if he loses.
Member when he said if he lost to Biden we would never hear from him again? I ‘member
No, but see, he didn’t lose the election was stolen from him. Totally different /s
Sounds like he’s a flight risk.
Venezuela? that’s an odd choice. He’s distracting us from his Russian emigration plans
Y venezuela no es que va a estar favorable a trump por mucho tiempo
lol, adding more reason to vote against himself every day. Gotta love it
As a convicted felon he can’t vote for or against himself
Ed: if there was any justice in the world
He can since he was convicted in New York and is registered to vote in Florida, Florida will follow NY’s guidelines and permit him to vote. If he was convicted by a Florida court he would be ineligible to vote there, but I guarantee that DeSantis would have pardoned him to fix that.
Mr. Trump, you don’t need to run there, start early and you can walk.
Put him on a bus.
In the context of what he was talking about, it seemed like that was his weird way of trying to make Venezuela sound like a better place than what America would be under Kamala Harris. Best thing you can do really is just completely ignore this guy because he thrives on attention, negative or positive.
Interpol being notified? Escaped felons should be
If he is being serious, please take all the MAGA Kool aid drinkers with you.
In 2022, it was reported that Vladimir Putin and his top leadership were developing a backup plan to flee to Venezuela if Russia were defeated in Ukraine.
Like a dog. Right to his masters lap, I see.
Won’t go to China and be a puppet they can parade around.
Iran, North Korea, Syria, and Cuba would suck for lifestyle and stability.
Brazil has a chance of maybe later changing their minds and wanting them gone.
What an amazing list of allies to turn to. And after all of them thinking Venezuela is the best bet for not ending up like Gaddafi.
I don’t disagree with the analogy, but Trump compares people negatively to dogs so often (and famously hates dogs) that I’m not a big fan of it.
Wow. Hates dogs?!
I love dogs. See it as the one and only positive thing I can say about him. He seems loyal to at least Putin. Who in turn is a dog person himself. Shit, you made me say something good about Putin too. Thanks a lot.
Plus, we don’t deserve dogs. They love unconditionally and are extremely loyal if treated right.
I’d say, “Like pond scum. He is going right to the lowest and grossest point of a lake.”
I agree. I would be honored to be compared to a dog. I’d wear that comparison with pride.
Uh, I like this one.
Haven’t the Venezuelans to deal with enough shit?
He is like “Who around here is the most down, so I can kick them even more?”
I bet he’ll run for president there too, and then fail, and then flee to another country that’s most likely allied with Venezuela.
Stop posting newsweek
Yep, I’m not clicking that. So the headline will have to do
Tabloids are not gonna work for me
Openly staying that he is going to flee the country… With ongoing court cases. Time to revoke that passport
“No, no, Agent! I am Donald…o Trump…ski. Famous Russian real estate guy and international lover of beautiful ladies. You don’t need my passport because all your friends know me. WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU’VE NEVER HEARD OF DONALD TRUMP I’M THE PRESIDENT!”
Not trump, that sentence was too coherent
I know, but I can’t downshift hard enough to get into that headspace. I tried.
Why wait? Trump could leave the United States right now and we’d all be better off.
Could he though? Isn’t he on bail?
Yup, out on bail while he awaits sentencing for the 34 felonies. And more charges are tied up in courts until after the election, but prosecutors have already started proceedings so he’d also be considered a flight risk for those cases.
So what I’m hearing is there are no downsides…
