I am sorry to hear the hospital closeing.
They may have forgotten that unlike Gaza where they can plausibly-ish claim that everything remotely governmental was technically Hamas, that isn’t the case in Lebanon.
Why bother? Gaza taught them that the world won’t do anything and doesn’t really care. Why should they even bother lying at this point? Israel could straight up say we’re invading Lebanon in an unjustified war of territorial aggression and literally nothing would happen.
They clearly don’t care about plausibility anymore.
They’ll just claim it’s Hezbollah and call it a day. And all the genocide supporting governments will blindly believe every word they say, proof be damned.
Hell they’re already doing it. Go check any of the pro genocide subs on reddit like world news. Zionist scum is all over it repeating Israeli lies to justify their actions.
Here we fucking go again. Israel just can’t leave the hospitals alone.
Money quote-
The four closures capped two weeks of Israeli strikes on hospitals and healthcare workers in Lebanon that have shuttered at least 37 facilities and killed dozens of medical staff, according to the World Health Organisation.
This is on purpose. You don’t hit 37 clinics on accident.
And they’re going to claim any service provider paid by Hezbollah is a terrorist too, just like they did with civil Hamas officials.
The strikes on healthcare facilities have not been limited to the south of Lebanon. Israel hit a medical centre in central Beirut on Thursday belonging to the Hezbollah-linked Islamic Health Organisation, killing nine and wounding 14. The Israeli army said the strike targeted “terror assets”.
But this is your local combat vet reminding you that it is in fact illegal to hit a hospital, no matter who pays the bills.
Late on Friday night, the Israeli army issued a statement alleging that Hezbollah was using medical vehicles to transport fighters and weapons, warning that it would strike any vehicle it suspected of being used for military purposes.
Let’s see how long is this line gonna work.
It’s been working so far, no reason to stop using it, I guess.
