THE HAGUE, July 4 (Reuters) - Dutch and German intelligence agencies have gathered evidence of widespread Russian use of banned chemical weapons in Ukraine, including dropping a choking agent from drones to drive soldiers out of trenches so they can be shot, they said on Friday. Dutch Defence Minister Ruben Brekelmans called for tougher sanctions against Moscow. “The main conclusion is that we can confirm Russia is intensifying its use of chemical weapons,” he told Reuters. “This intensification is concerning because it is part of a trend we have been observing for several years now, where Russia’s use of chemical weapons in this war is becoming more normalized, standardized, and widespread.” Germany’s BND foreign intelligence agency confirmed the findings, saying in a statement that it had obtained the evidence alongside its Dutch counterparts. Reuters was first to report on the intelligence. The head of the Dutch Military Intelligence Agency (MIVD), Peter Reesink, said the conclusions followed “our own independent intelligence, so we have observed it ourselves based on our own investigations.”

Chloropicrin is listed as a banned choking agent by OPCW, which was created to implement and monitor compliance with the 1997 Chemical Weapons Convention (CWC). It can cause severe irritation to the skin, eyes, and respiratory tract. If ingested, it can cause burns in the mouth and stomach, nausea and vomiting, as well as difficulty breathing or shortness of breath.

They can shut their pretty mouths up, when our allies do it in Israel then it is completely justifiable but when Russia does it, it makes headlines.

    Western hypocrisy.

Russia is getting more desperate by the day. Last month it was motorcycles and Ladas, now they are pulling out chemical warfare. They must be losing their ass if they are resorting to WWII tactics.

Friendly reminder that it is still very much legal to use (non deadly) chemical weapons on a states own citizens though.

In another comment thread you were happy about the tax cuts even knowing people will die from it. People pointed this out.

You praise policies Trump passes because of the money you get from it, but ignore all the damage it will do and people it will hurt. That’s selfish and evil. Clapping about your few extra bucks you don’t need while people with health issues die because they now can’t afford treatment.

You are a Trump supporter. You praise the good he does for you and ignore the damage he causes. Stop lying to yourself.

Ah good you’re all fine then. You’re welcome here too, as world mods seem to be on the side of making sure fascist enablers like yourself are treated civilly (while you support the guy who is the most uncivilised doing inhumane things to non white Americans. Citizens and non citizens. )

But of course your rich husband needs to be richer and that takes precedence. Totally understand.

So after Reddit and Lemmy where do we go next?

If you can’t be civilized, or can’t read the rules, it’s only your fault that your comment was deleted, especially since it’s not clear why you were ranting under this particular post.

I mean, you can always choose to be a better person, and if you have any problems with this person or their old comments, you can always write them a private message, there’s no need to start ranting in comments under an unrelated post.

              unrelated post

Ok, sticking up for the Trump supporter and not being able to connect two topics. I can be civilised, but people like you and the golddigging-Trump-supporter-in-denial make it really hard.
