    JFC, the right is just doing everything for racism and spite. What is this going to do for the American people, I ask?

    Also, what about open source models, LOL? Does Taco think he’ll be able to do anything about that? 🤣

      He can’t even do that. Here’s what will happen:

      1. Pass the law.
      2. OpenAI moves overseas or spins off a subsidiary or sister company.
      3. Pass another law banning the use of foreign AI, claiming it helps them train their models.
      4. Companies lobby for exemptions; users resort to VPNs.
      5. Trump’s administration demands domestic AI magically improve—but it won’t, because the talent pool (students, schools, experts) has left, and all that’s left are “prompt engineers.”

        A lot of talent is already leaving - I see that China is setting up things to welcome back expats.

        As always, Republicans ruin everything. They should never be permitted into office, at any level, but Taco is next-level.

          They are against having a product that their customers can’t use because it keeps telling their customers about white replacement theory or whatever unbidden.
