President Donald Trump on Monday said he would consider using the Insurrection Act to deploy the military if federal courts prevented him from deploying the National Guard to protect federal buildings and conduct law enforcement operations.

Jesus, irony must have been murdered on fifth avenue in broad daylight.

Courts interpreting the law in ways that go against his wishes is an insurrection.

Telling a horde of cultists to storm the capitol to prevent the turnover of power though, well that’s just good patriots expressing their opinions.

Not a lot of meat on those bones. This is essentially “Trump Muses About Shit He’s Already Threatened Several Times To Get Fresh Coverage.”

I’d not heard of Alanis’ death. We really lost a moral compass on irony.

I mean, the Texas national guard is now in Illinois - I really don’t think “taking Trump seriously but not literally” applies anymore.

If he’s unable to move forward with Portland due to the court case, he’s just going to do it and be done with it.

We are living in extremely dangerous times.
