Mark Bray was teaching courses on antifascism. Turning Point USA accused him of belonging to antifa, which he denies. His flight to Spain was canceled abruptly on Wednesday night.

In the weeks after the assassination of Charlie Kirk, founder of Turning Point USA, he has become a target of right-wing hate, accused of being a part of the movement he studied. Jack Posobiec, a right-wing influencer, called Dr. Bray a “domestic terrorist professor” on X. The Rutgers chapter of Turning Point USA then circulated a petition accusing Dr. Bray of being an “outspoken, well-known antifa member” and called for him to be fired.
The petition referred to him as “Dr. Antifa.”
“My role in this is as a professor,” Dr. Bray, an assistant teaching professor at Rutgers, said in an interview on Wednesday, hours before his planned departure. “I’ve never been part of an antifa group, and I’m not currently. There’s an effort underway to paint me as someone who is doing the things that I’ve researched, but that couldn’t be further from the truth.”
I expect that if he doesn’t get out of the US of A SOONISH, he … probably won’t live long.

I agree, but since they blatantly and continuously lie about a BUNCH of important topics (including but not limited to Israel, cops, trans people, progressive politicians) and are STILL considered “the paper of record” by all powerful Neoliberals and their clueless apparatchiks, there clearly isn’t.
Just them being more transparent than ever, as its the style these days. Additional corrections include Jack Posobiec being a longstanding outspoken racist. And they go on to quote his drivel. These organizations get paid to propagandize, sanitize, and force narratives, and it’s never been more obvious. But it’s getting expensive! And it is all soon to be under the same umbrella of Paramount state-sponsored slop or someother.
I mean did they claim there is?
They quoted a professional (in terms of monetary compensation if not competence) propagandist saying so without pointing out the inaccuracy.
That’s the kind of weaseling that amounts to saying it without taking responsibility for saying it. Just like they keep doing for cops and Israel.
His family’s plane tickets were “mysteriously” cancelled after they were through security and got to the gate.
Very very concerning.
