It seems pretty simple to me.
A changeling couple is…a couple. No more labels needed.
Mawage. Mawage is wot bwings us togeder tooday. Mawage, that bwessed awangment, that dweam wifin a dweam…
And wuv, tru wuv, will fowow you foweva…
So tweasure your wuv.
This is just non-binary, isn’t it?
So she’s right
A cishet trying to comprehend queerness
But who’s the changeling in the relationship and who’s the changeling
All changelings are gender fluid within the Great Link.
Also regular fluid
wouldn’t they solidify during the winter and become gender solid?
From what I can remember from the lore, changelings have different personalities for each of their ‘faces’, and thus person A face A would be in a relationship with person B face B, and would not be attracted to person B face C or any other identities
that being said, partners whose love for each other trancends identity would be a really sweet story
DS9 does have such an episode. In “Rejoined”, Jadzia Dax meets Lerana Kahn and it is revealed that their past symbiotes were married to each other. Their love to each other still lingers, despite the fact that they are both female now.
They could be pansexual polyamorus(sp?) changelings that are all attracted to each other.
that’d just be, like, mundane irl polyamory. Except I assume they wouldn’t need as big of a bed.
Until it gets to polyamorus drama, and one decides to break up or get jealous of another one.

Oh my god. They have do a show with a changeling crewmate or two. Please.
Aren’t lesbian couples gay couples or am I missing something here?
While gay is a catch all it also tends to be used specifically for male/male couples as well because there isn’t a term for gay male couples like there is for gay female couples. Hell, up until shockingly recently there wasn’t even a flag for gay men. For everyone else that the rainbow is supposed to cover but nothing specifically for gay men.
Women got Lesbos, men should get a Greek island as well.
Gotta be Andros.
Nah, too much overlap with androgynous
Root¹ of androgynous is andro(masculine) gyn (feminine)
¹guess which language?
Greek!
Interesting, TIL. Thanks for the explanation.
Happy to help him whatever weird way I can.
Changeling couple at the bar, not looking for a third but each one deciding what the other should look like that night. Is this anything?
