My local cinema is currently doing a re-release of The Hobbit trilogy, so I thought this was appropriate.

      M4 Book Edit if you want a book accurate version. Followed by the Dustin Lee edit if you want an improved version of the trilogy (without concern for canon). Both condense down into one film and are very well done and thoughtfully edited.
