First time I complaing about graphics, but they also use like 6GB VRAM for game which looks from PS3 or Xbox 360. The characters looks like toys, why it looks ugly?

Plus, lacks of voice acting.

It’s a narrative game. The graphics are intended to be more functional than pretty.

I also wish there was more voice acting, but the problem there is likely that you’d need the entire Voyager cast to chime in to sound right and there is a lot of dialogue. Not to mention, even the voiced logs with Tim Russ / RDM sound off because they’re 30 years older…

As for 6GB of VRAM, I blame the engine if that’s a real number and not one from the recommended specs (which are probably more about GPU power than memory). This game runs on Steam Deck and it technically doesn’t have any VRAM.

Paris’ massive forehead when he’s sitting at the helm. Its just so large. The art for their portraits when speaking are fine. The 3d models on everyone are really off-putting. But someone put their time into making them and thats what they went with so cool. Whatever.

I take more issue with all of the missed opportunities. Save Tuvix, but then he’s completely forgotten by the story AND you lose out on all Neelix and Tuvok specific dialog options.

Keep B’elanna split and Klingon version is ignored while the human one keeps the hybrid model for the 3d model and portrait art. But Klingon B’elanna does show up on the bridge a whole one time.

And the bugs. I’ve had the number of cycles to the next system completely vanish (kind of important in a resource management game), heroes just up and get removed when starting a new sector never to be seen again, interior locking up when trying to build a new room, freezes, and crashes.

It needed more time to cook, I think. Then putting out a paid DLC in the first week always screams to me that content was deliberately withheld for money

    Resurgence was cool, though.

I’m pretty sure when you get Klingon B’ellana the original is put back to normal in dialogue so that model/portrait makes sense.

But like for heroes disappearing between sectors, were they on quests? You can definitely leave people behind if you don’t fully resolve events.

Anyway, bad luck with the bugs. I’ve had it crash a couple of times or occasionally show an empty pop-up (which looks like it may be fixed now) but nothing really game breaking. Never lost more than a few cycles for reloading.

Nah. It was Chakotay and Paris (and another run someone else but never figured who, can’t place them, so no big loss, I guess.) They were both on the bridge at their stations as we jumped to the new sector and when we arrived, they were replaced with their backups. Hilarious you can leave people behind, though. Haven’t left anyone out on missions … That I know of.

The hero roster will list everyone you’ve unlocked in a run, including the dead / left behind to help you figure it out. Characters can cycle off the bridge if they are injured or otherwise busy with story too, so double check Chakotay and Tom are actually gone and not just at the bottom of a list of 30 injured crewmen waiting to be treated or something.
