Give men or boys access to guns or weapons, and this is what will always happen. Men gleefully look for excuses to feel justified in shooting other humans to pieces. It has nothing to do with territorial rights, it has nothing to do with retaliation, it has nothing to do with protection, it has nothing to do with war. It’s simply because men are bloodthirsty mongrels and now they have access to weapons of death in unprecedented numbers. Men and boys. All they want is a reason to kill others, and all of them are exactly alike.
