Neoliberalism, the predominant ideology in most western countries, is seen as an alternative to conservatism (very much so in the US), but they’re centrists at best, and conservative-lite at worst.

It’s almost like political parties are tied to the values of their voters.

Even if you don’t win, if this is a corporation the company is going to HATE the manager just for being put in that position.

Poor in my mind is not having basic necessities. At $30/h here you could definitely like… own a house, pay all your bills, buy groceries, pay for a vehicle, and still have like… $500+ left in your budget on a single income.

Average wage in my area is around $30/h.

Ugh haha! That’s annoying, can relate. I got disqualified by my psychiatrist because I can work independently 😂 Fuck haha. HOW stupid is that?

I got pissed, immediately drove to the clinic where I got my referral, got a doctor, and told him I wanted another referral for a second opinion, told him the psychiatrist’s opinion didn’t make sense to me. He told me it’s subjective, and said I could do a self assement. I haven’t done it yet haha, but I’d recommend pushing the subject.
