The fact that this went to court in the first place is just insane. This was an attempt at the removal of freedom for cruelty’s sake.

So she doesn’t want IVF to stop but does still think embryos are babies. To me this reads like someone who thinks literally all embryos retrieved during the IVF process must be used. For those who aren’t aware, IVF can potentially end up with 8 or so viable embryos.
While I’m not surprised and I’m not sure if the current proposals are any different, I hate how dishonest the framing around our aid so far has been. Even in non-right-wing news, it’s regularly talked about as a dollar amount, implying that it is or will be a strain on our economy. In actuality, we are primarily supplying old equipment that, while better than what Russia has, is not the best we own and would use ourselves. All that to say, this is not some big drain on the country like some people would like us to believe.
To reiterate what others have said, this has reached a point of needing professional help. Violence will not put a stop to violence, it will only make him more fearful and escelate the issue. There are so many factors that could go into this that people online can’t account for.
That being said, I really wish you and your beagle buddy all the best. It’s definitely a tough situation to be in.
EDIT: To try and provide something practical in the meantime, it may be good to remove his access to these random objects as best you can. If he’s grabbing at anything and everything then naturally you can’t completely prevent, but if you can block access to tables and counters and keep other areas cleared off that could stave off the symptoms somewhat until you can get help treating the main cause. Especially if he’s chewing them up, we don’t want him to get hurt that way.
Same over here but with his tail!
Credit where it’s due, Bluetooth headphones have come a long way. I like the ones I have now. That said, removing the jack and micro SD slots was extremely anti consumer and they should come back.
Adoption always comes with a certain level of trauma that not all people are prepared to help the child work through. There are also a lot of unknowns that come with it that can be challenging, both medically and behaviorally, that are lessened by having a biological child.
Naturally, it’s also much more straightforward to have your own kid if there aren’t fertility issues.
Could it be Knowledge Adventure? I played some of the JumpStart games growing up.
With Guardians 3, I’ve now gotten everything I wanted from the MCU. If they manage to get things back on track I’d be game to catch up but my hopes aren’t high. While flashy, there’s nothing here that doesn’t look like the same old MCU.
This may just be my device but I have to kill the PWA if I stop using it for around 10+ minutes, else I just get a black screen. Not the biggest problem but a bit annoying because I lose whatever thread I may have been reading.
Mtx tends to warp game design around them in one way or another. Oftentimes the shop experience and things you can buy see the most dev attention, to the detriment of actual gameplay. Another side effect is that things you’d normally find satisfaction in unlocking through gameplay are relegated to the store instead.
I recommend giving Plate Up! a look. As good as it is, we also found Overcooked incredibly overwhelming/frustrating. Plate up is much better in that area, we feel. It eases you into the more hectic situations and you actually have agency over the design of the restaurant.
I go in cycles. Most of the time I prefer highly replayable games that I can sink my teeth into over a long period. Deep Rock Galactic, Monster Hunter, Grim Dawn, etc. Then I’ll dip into some shorter experiences for a little while. I have a hard time sticking those games out until the end most of the time. I guess I just dont like endings. It’s not a problem I have with any other media, though. Quite the opposite, in fact.
Powerwash Simulator is perfect for this.
One on Firefox that’s super helpful for work is Simple Tab Groups. It lets me keep plenty of tabs open without it turning into a disorganized mess. Better than Chrome’s built-in tab organization, imo.
Sony buying everything is just as much a problem as MS doing it. I think the main difference is that they’ve stayed under the radar by doing smaller purchases, but I want someone to push the brakes on them equally as much.
Slightly pains me to say that this is a good thing. As much as I hate what’s happened to Blizzard but especially Crash and Spyro, monopolies are only going to end up making things so much worse.
It’s admittedly gotten a lot of shout outs with Diablo’s release, but Grim Dawn. Just a super great old school ARPG with a fun multi class system. I think I made a mistake by letting it be one of the first in the genre I really got into, so it’s kinda tough to find another one that competes.
Yup. My wife’s car is a '22 and while overall solid drives her crazy with its sensors yelling at her. Thankfully, the auto adjustment to steering if you ‘veer out of your lane’ can be disabled. It still beeps at her for usually no good reason, though. Meanwhile, I hate it because it uses Android auto and is absolutely horrible at managing multiple phones. When I drive it won’t connect. Meanwhile, when she gets home, it hijacks my bluetooth even if I’m listening to something with my headphones. If I unpair it on the phone side it spams pair requests until I block it.
Meanwhile, my car is roughly 10 years old, runs just fine, doesn’t beep just because I used my turn signal with a car next to me, and has basic bluetooth that just works. I much prefer mine.
