  • Hide our stance? The original commenter summarized the article in a way that made their stance clear. They believe the procedure in the article is medical care. They don’t have to state what procedure they’re talking about because it’s in the article.

Your accusation that they’re trying to hide what the procedure is leads me to believe you don’t agree that it is healthcare. So in the interest of having a productive discussion about the topic of this article I will make an argument and ask you what you think.

    1. What is considered healthcare should be decided by medical professional consensus.

    2. Your access to healthcare should not be dependent on a judges approval.

    3. The procedure we are discussing detailed in the article is considered healthcare by medical professional consensus.

Conclusion. Access to the procedure we are discussing detailed in the article should not be dependent on a judges approval.

  • A search warrant reviewed by Mother Jones said the agents were looking for evidence that Buma had violated laws against unauthorized removal of classified documents and unauthorized removal of national defense documents.

Horton said that the search turned up no classified material and that the agents seized only Buma’s own whistleblower complaint, which is not classified. The raid “is designed to be in retaliation for the whistleblower complaints,” Horton claimed. “It’s very heavy harassment.”

Fact: Those cute fluffy babies are actually a variety of baby rails, including a corncrake. Notice how feathery and soft they look, like a baby duck or chicken? That’s because there are basically two strategies for how young are born. They can be altricial, which means you’re born naked and blind (i.e helpless) or precocial, which means you’re born fully feathered or furred and are ready to go from day one.

Fun fact, most birds that are ground-nesters, so game birds, waterbirds, etc., are born feathered and adorable. Whereas most birds born in arboreal nests are little naked jelly beans. Crows, fall into the latter category as anyone who studies crows, rehabs crows, or curiously peeked into a crow nest can attest to.
