This is unfortunately part of migrating. Not all communities can just move over. Larger ones will develop and with that side communities will start with a large enough user base. Reposting in this case still doesn’t do anything other than give you the exact same content as Reddit just now it’s without an interactive user base.
Reddit will still have higher search hits and Lemmy is outmatched. Dumping content from Reddit just makes this no better than a mirror. It stops real and unique content from hitting the top and this place won’t attract new users if they can just use Reddit which at this point has the content directly and is more reliable.
That’s why, if you or someone you know doesn’t make enough, you get a used car. Brand new cars are such a waste of money. With that being said, prices across almost everything today is still fucked in the US with housing definitely being the worst offender.
Yes, we got all of the dramatic users shifted over to Lemmy so it’s to be expected. Everything is horrible to them.
I’ll take pride to say I’m one of the only people on here that has lol great formatting for movie discussions though.
This was much better than the original haunted mansion. I was surprised it was actually as funny and charming as it was. The cast they chose was great and I was also surprised to see some of the audience members actually jump a little from some of the jump scares in the film. The movie did drag on a bit though as Disney tried to throw in their signature touch of making things overly emotional and squeezing a tear from the audience. Unfortunately, it completely missed and it especially missed in my showing since there was someone loudly snoring throughout the “sad” part of the film which was cracking everyone up in the audience. Older man took his grandkids and needed some rest. It’s not a must see, but if you’re a fan of any of the actors, the ride, or Disney in general it’s worth a watch.
One of the freshest stories with the Turtles that I’ve seen in a long time. The way they wrote these characters was great with an absolute huge amount of potential for the future. They could go in any directions with this as a franchise and, with how beautiful the art style is, I’m all for it. I was impressed to see the talent casted for the film as well. If you’re interested in this then do yourself a favor and watch it in theaters so you can really appreciate the art.
This site is overly left wing is the problem. People are getting down voted for saying it doesn’t mean anything bad and higher rated comments are taking this way too far for assumptions because they’re projecting their personal feelings of Joe.
