Multiple reports state SMIC has finally developed an in-house 5 nm node using only DUV. It will supposedly debut alongside new Kirin chips later this year.

    Good. Necessity creates innovation. not so good for ASML that is getting competition created for it by the sanctions that aren’t doing so hot.

      Jokes on you USA will have it auto taxed at morbillion percent so I will be stuck on intel and amd x86_64 for the foreseeable future
