The cornerstone of most of these people’s lives is that belief in the divinity of an entity that might have existed 2000 years ago in the Middle East has the power to bend the will of their omnipotent and self described jealous deity who demanded blood sacrifice into an all forgiving, compassionate, and wise creator of all things. I am neither a botanist nor a theologist but in my experience mustard seeds are relatively large and mustard plants are relatively small.
