Hello,
As everybody knows, content discovery on Lemmy can sometimes be a bit tricky.
To help smaller communities to get more activity, I launch this thread for people to promote the communities they are active one.
One important criteria: please only promote communities that have been at least one post in the last 7 days. And if there is none, feel free to post there and then promote it here!
If you’re into daily word/puzzle games that tickle your brain, I have a few communities to suggest!
- Crossword: !crossword@lemmy.world
- Wordle: !wordle@lemmy.world
- NYT Connections: !nytconnections@lemmy.world
- NYT Spelling Bee: !nytspellingbee@lemmy.ca
- NYT Strands: !nytstrands@lemmy.world
- Daily Games: !dailygames@lemmy.zip
For anything health related - !health@lemmy.world
For those who live in, travel to, or have any interest in Southwest Florida:
“Imaginary” content
- !imaginary@reddthat.com
- !lemmydirectory@lemmy.dbzer0.com for the directory of communities
For playing daily games like Wordle, Jumblie, Strands and more with nice people from the fediverse:
For movies, TV and animation
For casual discussions and real life topics
For professional wrestling:
For Spanish speakers (make sure to have “Spanish” selected in your account settings if you don’t see recent posts):
Are you tired of clickbait and the current state of journalism? This community is meant to remind you that excellent journalism still happens. While not sticking to a specific topic, the focus will be on high-quality articles and discussion around their topics.
Europe specific
- !europe@feddit.org for news
- !yurop@lemm.ee for casual conversations
Linux, Android and FOSS
Weird news:
- !andfinally@feddit.uk - links are also in the sidebar there:
- !offbeat@lemmy.ca
- !nottheonion@lemmy.world
- !weirdnews@real.lemmy.fan
- !jingszo@lemmy.world
- !forteana@feddit.uk
- !raining@sh.itjust.works
- !britishcomedy@feddit.uk
- !beds@feddit.uk (Bedfordshire)
I need to do a proper new community post for this:
