Turkey will file a request with a United Nations court on Wednesday to join South Africa’s genocide lawsuit against Israel, a Turkish official said.
The declaration of intervention will be submitted at the International Court of Justice in The Hague, the official said on condition of anonymity in accordance with regulations.
Turkey, one of the fiercest critics of Israel’s actions in Gaza, will become the latest nation to seek to participate in the case.

I don’t get why it is downvoted even thought it’s literally Turkey’s stance. They have opened diplomatic relations with North Kurdistan, but they refuse to acknowledge any claim within their territory made by PKK, a terrorist organization.
I can find no evidence or information in the search results to support the claim that Turkey has opened diplomatic relations with “North Kurdistan,” a term not recognized as a separate entity by anyone.
I’m pretty sure Erdogan has spoken with Barzani more than a few times over years diplomatically, hence the relations. The region under their control is referred on Turkish news outlets as “North Kurdistan”, or “KRI” for short, not sure if I’m mistranslating anything.
