Y’all need to get on board with diversity of tactics. Memeing on your ass isn’t going to cut it alone. The union’s job is to empower the workers, like it or not, by getting inserted at the RNC, it will have a lasting impact.

minus-squareknightly the Sneptaur@pawb.sociallinkfedilinkarrow-up18arrow-down3·3 months agoHis presence gives the Republicans standing to claim (however falsely) that they’re the party of working people. I get the argument, but it seems to me that the RNC took advantage of him much more than the other way around.

minus-squareknightly the Sneptaur@pawb.sociallinkfedilinkarrow-up2·3 months agoAgain, I get the argument. I just hope he thinks it was worth his career, because the union is going to replace him at their next election.

Purity at all costs?
His presence gives the Republicans standing to claim (however falsely) that they’re the party of working people.

That may be true, but he also got a different kind of message out to a large variety of viewers that was different from the rest of the convention.
Again, I get the argument.
I just hope he thinks it was worth his career, because the union is going to replace him at their next election.
Acceptable losses IMO
