Here’s the salient line: As soon as a Democrat loses the popular vote but wins an Electoral College victory thanks to the support of Black and brown people in currently red states, Republican white folks will suddenly become very interested in getting rid of the Electoral College.

    The electoral college keeps the political campaigning out of my state. I can at least be grateful for that. I don’t know anyone who had complained about too little political campaigning in their community.

    If it were up to me the current system would be replaced by election by juries.

      Literally remember people saying they didn’t vote for Clinton in 2016 because she didn’t pay attention to their state. That was their excuse anyways.

        The frightening thing is, that’s the best you can hope for. Anything else is a pleasant surprise.
