I’m not saying that it’s likely or that it would have any effects.

I projected three years ago that come the 2024 election it’s all going to dissolve into a nothing burger, regardless who wins, it was solely a dog and pony show to keep us divided and on edge. The same way that Hunter Biden suddenly is no longer discussed now that Biden is out of the race.

It’s always to distract you from who is really pulling the strings. The super wealthy.

      They wrote. It down.

It may prove to not end in consequences, but they took notes on a criminal conspiracy before the outcome and it’s part of evidence submitted in federal court.

      Nothing burger is not nothing.

The courts are already starting to wind down investigations. This would have been the result regardless who won

it’s fucking joever, if the guy didn’t have the nuts to nip this in the bud, he’s certainly not going to grow a pair now and give him his just desserts.

    Yes, he can.

But he won’t be, or he’ll be given a suspended sentence that will never be supervised.

Oh no, of course he can’t. There’s decorum and precedent to consider! Best to give him free reign to do whatever the fuck he wants without fear of consequence or repercussion.

Basically they had 4 years to get it done but acted far too slowly and now there’s not enough time before he’s a sitting president they won’t prosecute.

No, they’re asking about the case that did go through where he was found guilty of 34 felony convictions. The People of the State of New York v. Donald J. Trump

He was supposed to be sentenced in September. Trump’s defense asked to delay. Prosecution didn’t object. Judge didn’t want to stick his neck on the line and accepted the delay.

I have no idea what will happen now but probably nothing meaningful anymore. It should have happened in September. I don’t know why the prosecution didn’t fight the delay, but understand why the judge did what he did.

But yeah, I completely agree with your sentiment. The momentum into nailing Trump down on crimes happened way, way, *way *too slow.

As a first time offender, he may not be getting a jail sentence regardless. Even if he did, though, he could just file an appeal and in the time it would take to hear it, he would be President and whatever sentence would be immediately put on hold l.

He’s not getting sentenced. Period. He never was. All of these delays have been powerful people kicking the can down the curb, waiting for a way to make the whole thing go away. They don’t want politicians and billionaires being held accountable, or then they too may one day be held accountable.

    No.

It’s over. Trump is never going to be held accountable for any of it. In a few years he’ll die peacefully in his bed like Kissinger did.
