How do you think the world would react to your selection?

Everybody Wants to Rule the World by Tears for Fears repeated 14 times, with 1000 Miles by Vanessa Carlton tossed in once somewhere in the middle.

I imagine they’d feel like they were babysitting their good friend who was blackout drunk but still conscious and who said that “Everybody Wants to Rule the World” was a song that never fails to calm them down. All the while, they’d occasionally remember the feeling that they were doing a good thing by making sure their friend didn’t choke on their own vomit that kept reappearing every hour or so.

15 different versions of Baby Shark that my daughter has on repeat.

I imagine the world would react negatively.

Don’t know how they’d react, but here’s the list I’d go with based on what I’ve been recently addicted to:

Escape Route by Free The Jester

Tongue Tied by Free The Jester

    Shapeshifter by Nothing Shameful

    Selkirk by Nothing Shameful

And probably one more to round it off:

    Casulty by The Nixon Rodeo.

If people aren’t a fan of small no-name bands, they might not like these talented groups and their songs, but I’m sure there are people out there who would absolutely love these indie(?) selections. I swear small no-name unrecognized bands have some of the best music.

No clue. Would have to look it up, which I’m gonna do because you got me curious.

        Edit:

From a quick search, definitely seems like they might be. Never heard of Not Green Day, though. Crazy stuff if it’s true.

I highly recommend going to see Not.GreenDay if they have a show near you. I saw them this year and they definitely sound like the OG GreenDay. They also did a good job of getting the crowd involved and in high spirits.

The audience HAS to actively listen to it? Like no talking over it and no interrupting with other noise?

I like this. Finally some peace and quiet.

Ohh yeah, they make one noise and we start again, I want half an hour minimum of silence from everyone, maybe they might look inside themselves and find the good person they’re hiding or I’ll get to not listen to people talk. Win win.

Because I wouldn’t want people to kill me after the 24 hours is over… I would go with the Pink Floyd album, Meddle, mostly for Echoes (six tracks). Then the Jean-Michel Jarre album, Oxygène (another six). Then some good trip-hop tracks for something to move to.
Maybe Supreme Beings of Leisure, Ghetto. Moloko, Fun for Me. Morcheeba, Blood Like Lemonade.
