Summary
Syrian troops withdrew from southern provinces of Daraa and Sweida to reinforce Homs, a key city under threat from insurgents.
The rapid advances by opposition fighters, led by the jihadi Hayat Tahrir al-Sham group, aim to overthrow Assad’s government and threaten Syria’s territorial integrity.
The situation is further complicated by the withdrawal of Iran’s military advisers and fighters, leaving Assad’s government with limited access to the outside world.
Homs has already fallen, I know the fog of war is thick and moving insanely fast bur there already in Damascus.

Seen lots of posts but figured this is recent from a reporter?
From what I can tell rebel advances from the south have arrived to the outskirts of Damascus. I don’t see concrete evidence that Homs has fallen. The group advancing southward from the north isn’t the same as the one moving northward from the south.

Edit: Reuters reporting Homs has fallen to the rebels
liveuamap.com is relatively well known in Ukriane, I often check them.
Never really thought of clicking on “Сирія” in the top toolbar. Did not know they were covering Syria as well.
They have one for the Isreal-Gaza war and even one for notable news stories in the US.
