Well, kinda. I mean, I was a huge black metal fan in my late teens and couldn’t suffer melodic death metal because… Well, melody was a no-no. Nowadays shitty production is a no-no for me and I mostly listen to melodeath lol. But the thing is, a well produced song can be soooo much heavier than a bad produced one
