None of those actually mention the vote in Ukrainian parliament, that is where the “unanimously” comes from 😇 I’ve looked through several sources and AJ English had it summarized the best 🤷♂️
off topic: not sure what are your reservations about AJ - soft power vehicle for Qatari gov?

Fair enough! While the vote isn’t mentioned in mine, they do talk about the opposition making public statements that they would refuse to run an election in wartime, which was enough in my mind for showing intent. I do appreciate the extra source.

Primarily that, yes. I appreciate the source of information, and if they are the ones reporting first- that is what it is, I just personally don’t read it if I can help it.
The 268 parliament members present on Tuesday voted unanimously in support of the Ukrainian president.
While the Ukrainian parliament has 450 members. The article implicitly confirms that much of the parliament is not there at the vote when it says that the threshold for passing the resolution is 226 votes.
So this article is not actually saying that the opposition has given approval to Zelensky’s term (though they might have, idk).

I’d rather not give AlJazeera any traffic, so here’s a couple of other sources.
