- Only two alarms would cause me anxiety, need at least 5 to make sure I wake up 🥲 - There was at least one more in there but thats my buffer where I’ll probably be late but close enough.
- Both of these have a five minute snooze (by default), so that’s actially 5 alarms. OP said they had actually set three of these, so that makes 7 alarms.
- In two apps, maybe two different phones too, for redundancy.

- Veering slightly off topic, but does anybody know if there’s an alarm clock app that rings at set earlier times to the final alarm? - For example, I want to wake up at 8:00am, and so I set one single alarm for 8:00am, along with “earlier times” of 30 minutes, 15 minutes, and 5 minutes. The alarm will then ring at 7:30am, 7:45am, 7:55am, then 8:00am. - I’m basically sick of having 4 alarms for every separate thing I have to wake up for. - Isn’t that something you solve with snooze? Like put the alarm for the earlier time, set the snooze time to 15min and hit snooze until you want to wake up? - I do that and it works great.
- I find I will sometimes stop the alarm instead of snoozing it while half-asleep. I need the alarm to ring again for these cases, even if rare.

- Assuming you’re on Android, this app has a pre-alarm function. - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.amdroidalarmclock.amdroid
- I don’t have an answer for you, but per internet protocol will still respond. - Have you tried on of the apps that wakes you up depending on where you are in your sleep cycle? It really has been a game changer. - Other than that, I just used snooze like the other comments mentioned, but if you know you’re gonna turn off the alarm instead of snoozing, I get wanting multiple alarms. - I don’t have an answer for you, but per internet protocol will still respond - Syn-Ack? - Meant more Cunninghams law/XY problem than TCP, but thank you for the laugh.

- I learned from this that I’m a freak for having just the one alarm set, for the time I need to actually get up - I have 1 time where my alarm goes off, but I use 2 physical alarm clocks: My phone and an old 90s digital alarm clock. The phone is mostly just as a backup in case of a power outage or something. - When there’s something really important (rare) I actually do that too, but a clock radio is the backup and the phone the main one.

- Ah a fellow 4h30 early bird! - Bonjour (is that right?). - Bonjour, yes it is. It’s 11am now so still way before the “Bonsoir” time which don’t really have an official time (it’s when it’s dark and we don’t have a good afternoon equivalent).

- It’s very surreal seeing a screen cap that could have been taken from your phone, but definitely wasn’t. - Especially with the VPN icon on there. - Tailscale to pihole ftw though!

- This post has taught me two things: - I’m lucky that I only need one alarm and sometimes a snooze.
- I wish I fell asleep earlier because my first thought was that you wouldn’t get enough sleep now.
 - Yeah, I was stalling at the end of the day but I made it through. Late start tomorrow. Friday gon be rough.

- Did that today, wondering if it’s due to daylight savings - For me there what a lot of unusual noise outside my house. I particularly remember waking up once and yelling out to my wife, “is everything ok?” After hearing/dreaming of a very loud clattering. I expect to go outside and see a bulldozer ran through the neighborhood or something. But it was probably just coming from the valley I sit at the top of. - Waking up from hearing a loud noise could be that you hallucinated the noise. Check out exploding head syndrome (coolest name ever) - Quite possible. Have been having issues with my ears lately. Fuck, forgot to take some allergy meds.

- That happened to me this morning. Lousy bladder.
- It me, now.
- Why are there only two? - The rest are hidden. Don’t fret, it would surely take more then two alarms to wake me.

- And then you sleep for few more hours, lol. - That’s one thing I don’t like about being unemployed, that is wasting so much time.
