There were live feeds for all the Gaza university protest camps too. You could watch live as the Israelis came after the peaceful protesters with Baseball bats while the cops were watching and then 2h later the articles were out saying that the poor Israelis were being beat up and being discriminated against. Basically all big protest events now have at least one person with a bunch of powerbanks livestreaming the whole thing.

Fucking LAPD buzzing them with a helicopter. If you check Flightradar you can see the (news?) helicopters also there are following local regulations to not fly below 1000 feet in urban areas. Meanwhile the LAPD is dipping down to 700 feet.

Edit: Police told the press to get the fuck away, and shot tear gas at them, been shooting fireworks, and tear gas into the crowd for a while, and someone started a fire next to a semi-truck. Seems weird that one person was stacking shit up trying to make things worse. This is getting lut of hand fast. But it doesn’t look like its being escalated by the protestors.
Oh, and a helicopter or two flying real menacing overhead. All this for like a 150 people, that im pretty sure we’re peaceful until the police started shooting tear gas at them.
Just be sure not to go to the comments of the live streams. I’m not 100% sure they’re just trolling, and it just further disappoints me.

Criminals take the opportunity to do crime.
Fascists/cops take the opportunity to vandalize and commit violence to frame protesters.
None of this means peaceful protesters should be treated with violence, but this is exactly what the fascists/cops will use as justification to deny everyone their rights.
I am specifically talking about the guy in a wheelchair and at least 5 other people I’ve recognised that were in the midst of the protest before. Those are clearly protesters not criminals that randomly showed up or just tagged along.
They are of course only a small portion of the protesters. However no one calling the cops on them or hindering them makes them complicit.
This dumbass is suggesting that protesters call the cops when there’s 50 cops right across the street, watching everything. What a piece of shit.

Yeah but they got to do something. They are the reason the police isn’t moving in. So if I were in their place I’d either coordinate with the police so they could move in or try to take the situation in my own hands or stop protesting all together because it allows people to do looting under my umbrella. That makes me responsible. If the looting happened anywhere else the cops would have done something about it long ago. So like go to a protest tomorrow that isn’t right next to a store that you must have taken notice of by now is being looted.
They dont have to do anything, they arent looting. The cops are visibly watching the people who are looting the gas station. The cops can still go after those people later. No one really cares to make a fucking scene out of a bunch of chips and pop getting stolen. The protesters have no reason to stop protesting
