    I think minecraft is what it is because of youtube and the creative mode. Survival is the only thing that makes building interesting, but for anything bigger than that you may need creative.

    But i enjoy building castles and fortified bases, than you can basically go for adventures without ever strip mining. Villgaer maps, treasure maps and so on. I really don’t care for the end that much. It’s not one game it’s a million different games.

      yeah. i don’t enjoy any of the “creative” parts really, i want to make machines. terraria is a lot better at some of the things minecraft deos, but completely ignores others. which is good when you want a compelling game, rather than just a sandbox.

        I enjoyed a fair bit of it. I found an intact shipwreck above ground right next to spawn in my recent world, so i thought i’d turn it into some piarete cove. I think i start to struggle when projects are too big. Bu now i do small things and i enjoy them all the same.
