    So the bill is about weather control… but massively overestimating what it is and how it’s been used.

    Also just so mindnumbingly stupid even with the conspiracy theories. Lets say for a second there is a secret cabal lead by Soros, firing lasers at the ground to start wildfires, and creating/supercharging hurricanes to attack red states all behind the public eye… the solution is… “Make a law to make it illegal”.

    Good thing we made hijacking planes illegal or else someone might have flown them into the world trade center and pentagon, also good thing child molestation is illegal otherwise major powerful people would have been flying the lolita express to epsteins island and commiting rape and sexual assault.

      You see, the Demiurge created our material universe, and he treats it like a bored player messing around in the Sims. The Democrats are interfering with God’s control over the weather - this will no doubt incur his most terrible wrath!     Greene has introduced a bill to outlaw “weather modification and geoengineering”

    Okay, so her reasons for putting this forward are because she is a grown woman with a Sky Daddy.

    But she’s right, in this case, for two reasons.

    1. IMO as an engineer seeing how casually and quickly we are putting increasingly capable AI shit into fucking everything … some regulations to control things like weather modification, geoengineering, and godlike intelligence are a pretty good idea.

    2. She does not seem to realize that dumping gigatons of CO2 into the atmosphere very much counts as “geoengineering”

    I’ve found that dipshits like her don’t really have much of a definition of what is “natural” vs. what is “playing [their] god”. For example, are they okay with domesticated animals and domesticated plants? Isn’t evolution guided by humans “playing god”?

    Because if not, I have no idea what the fuck she would eat. I challenge her to show me something that has not been shaped by man.

    I would ask the same question about vaccines, but a lot of these dumbfucks have resorted to some of the same talking points their stupid forebears did when vaccines were first introduced, so I think her answer might be incredibly stupid.

    And, as people keep pointing out…I know the brainless like her reject AGW, but we are all modifying weather right now and have been for quite some time…

        By any reasonable moral system God is unjust in punishing them for eating from the tree. They couldn’t be culpable for their transgression because they didn’t have knowledge of good and evil prior to eating from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Without that knowledge they were incapable of making an ethical decision. The Garden of Eden, like many of the stories in the old testament isn’t a story of the failure of man, it’s a story of the failure of God.

          To Gnosticism, God from the Old Testament, also known as the Demiurge, is an asshole who incorrectly thinks that he really is God. The Demiurge also happens to agree with a lot of MAGA policies (people who don’t believe in the Demiurge are inherently evil, and eye for an eye). The Demiurge has low tolerance for anything that looks like treason, so it makes sense that he would kick Adam and Eve out for defying him.
