They even join her up on hunting stands.

    Don’t do this. You are taking predators into an ecosystem that has no defense against a predator that even if it doesn’t catch anything will still be fed to come back full energy tomorrow.

      Are you talking about the human, or just failed to do any critical thinking here?

      Taking a cat on a camping trip is hardly an ecological disaster. Permanent outside cats in the wrong places might be depending on where you live, but this post is just not comparable.

        She doesn’t go hunting, she just likes to sit up there for the view and they join her.

        Fully agree to the rest. The cats don’t wonder off to hunt, they stay with her at all times and get fed by her.
