ah so the secret to doing something which I (possibly mysteriously) dread, is to add a new item to the list that I dread even moreso. and then queue the loop of feeling like a goober about myself. progress some days is progress anyway!
I wonder if this could be supported with a task-swap group irl or even a social media platform. I have things that are hard for me to start but easy to accomplish and things that are easy for me to start but hard to finish. I lucked out because my partner has the opposite perspective in which are hard to start vs finish. We swap tasks all the time.
I finally took care of repotting my plants that I’ve been meaning to get to since June.
Because I didn’t want to make a phone call to reorder my meds.
