I basically agree, it is usually not a good sign when Washington supports another régime, but it would be easy for somebody to argue that the U.S.S.R. during WWII was an exception because of Imperial America’s propaganda support therefor and, of course, the lend-lease pack that antisocialists never tire of overrating.
