      In all honesty, it’d probably make more sense to do this at more scale, not to limit it to a few West Coast states. I doubt that those three states are the only ones who disagree with RFK on health policy.

      If Oklahoma or whoever is dead set against having vaccine recommendations and doesn’t want to have the federal government do that, okay. But it can be done at the state level and incorporate all the states that want to do so as to reduce redundancy.

      EDIT: I would kind of like a convention for naming interstate partnerships like this. We tend to use “National” or “US” for federal stuff, but we don’t have an established prefix for multi-state-level partnerships.

      EDIT2: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Interstate_compact has some. Many currently seem to be named after the region or area where they started.
