Im listening to the Last Podcast on the Left’s new series on Himmler and they were just talking about how the Nazis used this same tactic to win over the German people. They labeled themselves as ‘Socialists’ and used leftist rhetoric to gain power despite being anything but. I think we all know how that turned out and I can’t help but draw parallels after seeing how often the Democratic party claims they’re seemingly always ‘powerless’ to improve anything while continually capitulating to every Republican demand.
