Professor Stamets would be a sight to behold, second only to Professor Rayner.
He should at least get a cameo or a guest spot. Continuity-wise, Stamets is right there. And Tig Notaro is gonna be there, and Reno was the perfect foil for him.
Of all the cast, it seems like he would have the most reason to be there as a guest instructor - he’s an expert in a field that no one else gives a damn about.
I guess the biggest knock against it in-universe is that Starfleet’s first responders still need him to Make Them Go.
