Really weird!” He went on to call the image “a super bad picture that deserves to be called out.”
I think it’s more likely they struggled really hard to find any flattering angle, and this is the best they came up with.
Photographies from bottom up are rarely flattering so i don’t think thats it. I mean Trump is a very old dude, so there are no “sexy” pics of him but there are for sure better pictures.
Tbh the most logical explanation is that they knew Trump would make a fuss about a somewhat bad picture and thus generate more attention, while the article strokes his ego and thus prevents real actions taken.
Counterpoint: They’re an independent media organization. They didn’t have to write an article fellating our mad king. It’s so obviously meant to appeal to him, it makes me question any journalistic integrity they may have once had…
