what’s that? looks cool
The board game? It’s Carcassonne, a game where you build the board as you play. I’ve got the big box which has all 11 expansions and I think I paid around $120 CAD for it (approx $85 USD) but the base game is obviously much cheaper.
On your turn, you place a piece to add it to the board, then if you want you can add a meeple (those little wooden guys) on a road, castle, or farm. When a road or castle gets completed, whoever is on it gets points from it. At the end of the game, if you have a farmer, any completed castles on your land also gets you points. There’s obviously more to it than that but that’s the basics. It’s my wife’s favourite game and it’s pretty easy to learn so it’s good for games nights when we have people over, but it’s also playable with just two people as well.
Good name, though - I like it.

The cat only has the one piece, but has laid a magnificent claim. Well played, cat.
Not until you can simply explain how to score farmers.
3 points for every finished city, rivers and roads are boundaries.
If two or more players have farmers on the same land, do they both score or do they cancel out?
They both score. At least according to the rule book in my version.
Don’t you have some delicious treats to rustle up, h00min?
