Sure, its all hypocrisy. But then it’s “Heads I Win / Tails You Lose” with these media hacks. Either your protest is polished and professional and looks white on camera (paid protestors!) or its organic and muddled and has too many brown people in attendance (violent mobs! ugly poor people!)
There’s never going to be an opposition movement that a dictator is going to approve of, unless it’s a fully controlled opposition.
What’s more illustrative than GOP officials complaining that the people who don’t like them aren’t legitimate is the raft of national media institutions that mindlessly regurgitate partisan propaganda.
