    Or maybe nobody ever makes it to interstellar travel. They always end up destroying themselves first, like we’re currently busy doing.

        It’s highly suspicious that we can’t see ANY evidence of an interstellar civilization considering how far we can see. Over 13 billion years, and nobody in visible range is flying big ships around or anything? I’ve no doubt intelligent life is out there, but SOMETHING seems to be keeping all of it from doing a Star Trek.
