    Exactly. The same people complaining about Bad Bunny were likely to watch the super bowl regardless. This could help bring more international viewers, which has been the NFL’s biggest goal over the past decade.

      Something I’ve been wondering: how many people are complaining about this? And how much of it is just bots farming outrage? Not that I can admit that I’ve heard much about it from people I’ve spoken to, so maybe I’m totally off, but I’ve been increasingly more suspicious about putting stock into headlines about trends in online discourse

        Apparently 55,000 assholes signed the petition. Even if we assume all of those were individual votes and not bots or trolls (sure), that’s fucking nothing compared to even a normal regular-season game viewership.
