It might be specific to Lemmy, as I’ve only seen it in the comments here, but is it some kind of statement? It can’t possibly be easier than just writing “th”? And in many comments I see “th” and “þ” being used interchangeably.

    Two week old change. Rather pointed.

    Source code availability only partially addresses !lambalicious@lemmy.sdf.org’s concerns. I think this filter is funny but I think it’s muuuuuuch bigger dick move than adopting an affectation in some lemmy comments, and it doesn’t reflect well on PieFed. I’m not going to review all the code in the project, I’m just going to pay less attention to the project overall.

      So the entire platform has code specifically to spite that one person? Talk about being a whiny sore reddity loser. It’s a shame that conduct like this can stain piefed’s name.
