The US is deploying the world’s largest warship towards the Caribbean, marking a major escalation in its military build-up in the region.
Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth ordered the USS Gerald R Ford aircraft carrier, which can carry up to 90 aircraft, to move from the Mediterranean on Friday.
The US has been increasing its military presence in the Caribbean in recent weeks, sending other warships, a nuclear submarine as well as F-35 aircraft in what it says is a campaign to target drug traffickers.
I mean the worse part is they are not even drug boats. It’s impossible for those little boats to ever reach America, they need what 12? 20 fuel stops to get there? I have an uncle that used to be a fishermen and he used to take me out for some ceviche and oysters on the weekends. Those boats cannot get anywhere near those drugs are supposedly “distributed” What pisses me off the most is: the people that go out and fish like that are usually the poorest and most vulnerable, and they get presented as drug dealers by these disgusting nazi shit, they get anonymized, blow to pieces, nobody thinks about their families or friends.
