Its not better per se compared to other Linuxes for gaming, just pre-configured to take a lot of the basic setup work out of it for you.

Everybody uses Arch btw, can’t quit Vim, <loves/tolerates/hates> systemd, and wants to interject for a moment. You can stop now.
