I know it does hapoen some but it seems rare. Also anecdotal but most of the people I know who had it made like that had gotten their money as salespeople and/or at a tech startup and just kept on chasing that rabbit. Likely just a different cross-section of people who are more ambitious (or greedy.)

I’d love to see an actual study of it, especially comparing vocations amd other factors
