All religions are shit.
Religion is a great scam.
- Convince people there is a god.
- Convince them that you know what god wants.
- Tell them what god wants (here is where you tell them whatever you want in order to take advantage of them)
- Convince them that if they do not obey god (what you tell them) that they will suffer for eternity.
Now you’ve got them in the palm of your hand.
Spirituality is great. Belief in a greater good and having a positive moral view of the world is wonderful.
Organized religion is a gigantic steaming bucket of horseshit.
Once upon a time it was a good way to help build a community and to help pass along social knowledge of living in groups, however people very quickly learned it could be used for control and since then has been another means of exerting power over gullible people.
