You think your solution of supporting a group with a 33% approval rating is the answer? The reason their numbers suck is because the general public has no faith in them when their entire platform is we are not Trump, despite being exactly like him. If the DNC was a party of the people they would have approval ratings like President Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo of Mexico at nearly 80%

Yes, but that’s the crux of the issue, isn’t it? Wrestling power back from them?

Trump has expressed the idea of canceling midterm elections, and running for an unconstitutional third term. If their solution to dealing with the legality of things like these is “we’ll make it legal”, then what does the law actually stand for?

As much as I would love my neighbors to the south to have shit-ideas flung at each other in a representative democracy, first you need to deal with the party that’ll use any means, inside or outside the law, to hold on to power.

He doesn’t need to actually stop them, just make them appear illegitimate. Also, in places where Republicans are in power already, they will absolutely do this and suddenly we’re looking at a midterm where the best outcome for Democrats is losing no power instead of gaining any.
