The countries affected by the suspension announced on Wednesday are:

When you apply to sponsor an immigrant (ie, parent, child, spouse), you always have to submit an “affidavit of support”. It is a guarantee that the immigrant won’t end up on welfare.
The “affidavit of support” is a joke. 150% poverty level which was around $40k when I filed.
I want immigrants to use our welfare. That way they know what they contribute to later on, when working.
