A new poll suggests almost a third of Canadians say the United States might attempt "direct action" to take control of Canada, with a fifth of Americans agreeing.
Mounties and the city cops will probably be on the guerilla’s side as often as not. Resistance becomes possible because it will be against whatever new collaborateur occupation force, and there could still be a government in exile out there directing and giving it legitimacy.
