I don’t know anything about this other than what I’ve seen on Time Team (and supposition), but I think that might be ok if you’re trying to measure the size and density of a mineral deposit, but I don’t think you’ll be able to detect a grave.
I think I’m conflating GPR with… something else to do with magnets, but I still don’t think you’re going to detect a grave from a plane.
Maybe they meant a Magnetometer or ground penetrating radar.
These aren’t just a little device you pin on your shorts though. You might tow it in a trailer behind a 4 wheel motorbike over a grid pattern.
Or for the ground penetrating radar pop it on a small private plane and do a series of flybys

There are relatively small buggy/wheelbarrow ones that you walk the grid pattern with.
